2019 Ford Edge ST

2019 ST 2.7 eight speed transmission. Have had and still have a whine while cruising 35 to 50 mph. Disappears with slight acceleration or deceleration. Ford dealership along with regional service engineer agreed to replace PTU and then complete transmission. Still have problem. First noticed this between 42k and 45k. I have been told by the regional service engineer that this issue is prevalent in ST models. He believes this is a transmission engineering issue. Let me know if you have this same issue. I live in Zone D in Ford’s Service Area Designstions.
