- 2019 Ford Edge ST
Hello everyone. I have a 2019 ST with 70k. The car has been flawless and completely trouble free since purchased new.
I installed new PowerStop rotors and pads about 10k miles ago and initially there were no issues, (Evolution Slotted and Drilled, Zinc Plated https://www.powerstop.com/product/po...lotted-rotors/)
However, in the last 4 or 5k miles, there is some braking noise when stopping from 45mph to about 25mph. There isn't any vibration or pedal pulsing, but just an audible "hum/noise" that seems to come from the front or maybe even the front left wheel. And again, if I'm braking from say 60 or 70mph, the noise only gets loud in the 45 to 25mph range and then gets quiet again as I come to a full stop or continue to brake through that range of speed.
I rotate the tires every oil change (6-9k) and everything looks fine on inspection. I also re-torque the lug nuts within 100 miles after a tire rotation and do annual brake fluid flushes.
Appreciate any help.
Rick
